Your Opportunity
We are looking for an Environmental/Experiential Graphic Designer to join our Houston team
Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design team (brand, interior architecture, architecture) to develop strategies and document graphic solutions that will extend our client’s brand story into the built environment
- Using brand and identity as foundation, design concepts for touchpoints such as: interior and exterior building signage, murals, and experiential graphics for hotels, residential properties, retail and commercial spaces, parks, and cultural institutions
- Develop detailed signage drawings that document designs for fabrication and installation within architectural and landscape settings
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Knowledge of architectural drawings and process
- Understanding of materials and methods required for signage fabrication and installation
- Significant knowledge and interest in typography is a plus
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, eagerness for learning and knowledge-sharing in a collaborative studio
- Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and deliver constructive critique
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to creative excellence
- Portfolio demonstrating a strong design sensibility and typographic skills
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
- Revit experience is a plus
Education and Experience
- A bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, communication or environmental design preferred
- 4+ years of professional work experience with a focus in signage, wayfinding, and experiential graphic design

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
**Benefits Summary:** Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave.
