AGRILAND FS, a financially strong cooperative serving customers in a growing geography, is looking for a dynamic leader in operations, business and agriculture to fill the role of location manager. The right individual will develop and manage a team to drive the business goals of a growing agronomy retail facility, while taking advantage of the opportunity for career growth through continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage the operational function and team at assigned facility

+ Lead facility in achieving CTO goals by improving efficiency, developing people and offering premier customer service

+ Utilize CTO to make business decisions

+ Dispatches product and services to meet the needs of customers

+ Recruit & develop team members to improve operations and reduce turnover

+ Schedule maintenance of facility and equipment

+ Maintain inventory and facilitate distribution of products

+ Supervise both full-time and part-time operations personnel; lead team meetings

+ Assist in determining location asset needs and developing the location budget

+ Collaborate on all safety and compliance issues and other locations to improve business efficiencies

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in an agriculture-related field or 5 years experience in management

+ Management experience must include examples of the development of others, business improvement and customer engagement

+ Understanding of basic business principles of inventory and expense control

+ Good mechanical aptitude

+ Needs to understand and be able to learn to operate all equipment at facility

+ Exhibits solid organizational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines

+ Exceptional customer service skills

+ Experience in leading safety and business improvement strategies

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsements
