Responsibilities:
+ Primary resource for leading the Lean transformation through the implementation of the Parker Lean System (PLS).
+ Delivers training to associates in PLS methodology and tools to eliminate waste in all administrative, manufacturing and support functions.
+ Measures and reports progress on an on-going basis using the site’s Win Scorecard and site’s PLS Lean Journey Assessment.
+ Works with Site leadership on Lean implementation strategy.
+ Ensures adherence to PLS standards for the Site, Value Stream, and Team Improvement Boards, enabling a PDCA culture and progression of the Lean Journey.
+ Provides technical and operational recommendations in meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
+ Ensures on-going education of self and all employees at the site in PLS.
+ Leads a Continuous Learning environment.
+ Communicates the status of all Lean efforts to the Division Operations Manager.
+ Facilitates Kaizen Events on a monthly cadence.
+ Manages the planning, execution, and follow-up of Kaizen events.
Qualifications required:
+ Bachelor’s degree required.
+ 4+ years of successful manufacturing experience with at least two years of direct Lean leadership.
+ A demonstrated understanding of Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time, Demand and Capacity Planning, Single Piece Flow, 5S, Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance, Level Loading, Standard work, Kaizen, SPC, Six Sigma and Communication Tools, Statistical Problem Solving and IATF 16949
+ Understanding of financial measurements
+ Effective presentation skills
+ Excellent Microsoft Office skills
