Job Title: Quality Engineer IIJob Description
The Quality Engineer II is a mid-level position focused on ensuring product quality through the completion of validation and qualification activities independently. This role is pivotal in meeting customer quality needs via cross-departmental collaboration and has minimal customer-facing interactions.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure product quality by executing validation and qualification activities with minimal assistance.
+ Collaborate cross-departmentally to meet customer quality needs.
+ Represent the quality function in the support of day-to-day manufacturing operations.
+ Address nonconforming products and generate reports, CAPAs, and documentation.
+ Implement process changes and drive improvements in assembly, machine production, and support.
+ Engage in injection molding and equipment management.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in quality engineering and CAPA processes.
+ Experience working with manufacturing engineers and supervisors.
+ Ability to use manufacturing software, spreadsheet software, Minitab or other statistical process control software, and Microsoft Office products.
+ Competency in using SolidWorks or other CAD software.
+ Working knowledge of design controls and Quality System Regulations.

Work Environment
The role involves working very closely with the production team to address quality issues arising from manufacturing. It provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in contract manufacturing within the medical device industry.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
