    Job Title: Engineering AidJob Description

     

    As an Engineering Aid, you will play a crucial role in assisting the engineering department with various aspects of project development and production support. This position offers an opportunity to engage in diverse tasks and be a part of a growing team in a new facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Review and release work orders.

    + Update engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) as directed.

    + Submit drawings and files for Product Data Management (PDM) workflow.

    + Maintain revision blocks and updates for releases.

    + Understand regulatory certification requirements.

    + Review Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs) and create re-work orders.

    + Review labels for samples ordered.

    + Generate part numbers as needed.

    + Verify engineering masters and components for the ERP system.

    + Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

    + Support the engineering team through interaction with quality, manufacturing, and production departments.

    + Assist with pre-production inventory tracking.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks.

    + Experience with change management.

    + Knowledge of engineering documentation and change processes.

    + Understanding of BOMs and workflow management.

    + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with SolidWorks PDM is preferred.

    + Familiarity with the automotive industry.

    + Basic dimensioning skills.

    Work Environment

    This role is based onsite at a new facility in Snow Hill. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. You will be working with computers and standard office equipment in a collaborative environment that values innovation and growth. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and optimization of a brand-new plant.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
