    Job Title: Civil DesignerJob Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer capable of handling site and subdivision layout, preparing development plans, and finalizing construction drawings and related documents under the supervision of a Civil Engineer.

    Responsibilities

    + Design site and subdivision layouts.

    + Prepare development plans.

    + Create final construction drawings.

    + Collaborate with Civil Engineers to ensure project accuracy and compliance.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil Design.

    + Experience in site development and stormwater management.

    + At least 2 years of experience in site/subdivision design.

    + Graduate of a Technical School in Computer Aided Drafting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with Carlson Civil Design is a plus.

    + A degree in Civil Engineering or a graduate of a Landscape Architect Program is advantageous.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in an office in Lexington, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. As part of a smaller engineering firm, employees have the opportunity to engage in various roles and responsibilities.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
