    We are seeking a dedicated SUE Technician to join our team and support field operations for subsurface utility engineering projects across South Florida. The primary focus will be on TECO and gas infrastructure. This role involves locating and mapping underground utilities, collecting field data, and ensuring accurate documentation. The technician will work independently in the field, managing multiple assignments daily while delivering high-quality results.

    Responsibilities

    + Locate and map underground utilities.

    + Collect and document field data accurately.

    + Ensure precise documentation of findings.

    + Manage multiple field assignments independently.

    + Deliver high-quality project results consistently.

    Essential Skills

    + Utility locating expertise.

    + Clean driving record.

    + Fluency in English and Spanish.

    + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

    + Self-motivation and independence in fieldwork.

    + Experience completing 4–5 projects per day.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior SUE experience preferred.

    + Familiarity with TECO and gas utility environments.

    + Awareness of traffic control protocols.

    + Experience with subsurface utility engineering.

    + Proficiency in using ground-penetrating radar and GPS.

    Work Environment

    This role is based in South Florida and involves travel to various project sites, from Miami Beach to Jupiter. The position operates on a schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00/5:00 PM. A company-provided truck will be available for site visits. The work is primarily outdoors and may involve working in various weather conditions.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plantation, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
