    Description

    Our client in Solana Beach is seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support the HR department with daily operations, employee documentation, and company-wide HR initiatives. This is an excellent role for someone early in their HR career who wants to expand their experience across multiple HR functions.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Support onboarding and offboarding processes including offer letters, new hire packets, I-9 verification, and employee data entry

    + Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, HRIS data, and compliance documentation

    + Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries

    + Coordinate interviews, manage job postings, and support recruiting tasks

    + Prepare HR reports, track employee changes, and assist with policy updates

    + Partner with HR leadership on employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and culture-focused projects

    + Help ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant with California law and company standards

    + Serve as a friendly, reliable point of contact for employee questions and day-to-day HR support

    Requirements

    + 1–3 years of HR experience in a coordinator or assistant capacity

    + Working knowledge of HR best practices and California employment fundamentals

    + Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and documentation skills

    + Proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning HRIS systems

    + Excellent communication and customer-service mindset
