Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
As a Maintenance Engineer, you go to local auction houses or locations specified by the logistics coordinator or upper management. Your primary role will involve scanning and identifying vehicle inventory at auctions for open recalls, performing recall repairs on approved vehicles, and following procedures to ensure recall work is completed accurately and safely.
Responsibilities
+ Travel daily to designated auction sites.
+ Scan and identify vehicle inventory for open recalls.
+ Perform recall repair work on listed and approved vehicles.
+ Use provided lists for recall vehicles and complete tasks with available parts.
+ Follow recall documentation instructions to ensure safe and proper completion.
+ Submit recall work as a job in Autoleap with necessary information and media.
+ Upload photos of receipts into the Bill Pay app when using the company card.
+ Maintain a courteous and professional attitude with team members and external clients.
+ Store and secure parts properly in their original packaging.
+ Organize parts in your work vehicle and storage unit.
+ Return cores in their original packaging to the MRS hub.
+ Request parts using the current process with sufficient lead time.
+ Adhere to auction guidelines, safety protocols, and security measures.
+ Set a weekly schedule and provide it to the logistics coordinator or upper management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Valid Driver's License
+ Willingness to work outdoors all day
+ Ability to travel for up to 2 weeks away from home for training
+ 2+ years of experience in a trade involving installation or repairs
+ Experience using basic hand tools
+ Familiarity with computer software such as CMMS or Microsoft Office
+ Own a computer or tablet for training purposes (not a cell phone)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
