Job Description

Join a dynamic team working as a Pipefitter at a leading steel fabricator. You will be responsible for performing various fitting duties, including structural steel fitting and flux core welding. This role requires precision and the ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16th of an inch. Candidates must also be able to lift 50 pounds and perform tack welding and pipe fitting tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Complete fitting duties at a steel fabricator.

+ Perform structural steel fitting.

+ Execute flux core and tack welding.

+ Read a tape measure accurately to the 1/16th of an inch.

+ Lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of pulse mig and aluminum welding.

+ Familiarity with AWS standards.

+ Experience in construction and working with carbon steel.

+ Mechanical aptitude and grinding skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
