    **Job Title:** SMT Technician

    **Pay Rate:** $28-35

    **Shift:** 1st

    Description

    + Set up, operate, and maintain MPM Momentum II Stencil Printer, Mycronics MY300 Pick and Place, Heller Reflow Oven, and CTI System Laser Marker.

    + Perform inspections in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards to ensure product quality.

    + Maintain accurate documentation of processes, inspections, and equipment performance.

    + Ensure all processes and equipment remain within company manufacturing standards.

    + Collaborate with machine manufacturer technical support groups when required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with SMT assembly processes and electronics manufacturing environments.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on SMT equipment.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    + Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

    + Basic understanding of manufacturing software systems (MES/ERP).

    + Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime when required.

    + Certification in IPC-A-610 or related industry standards.

    This is a Contract position based out of Bohemia, NY.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
