Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer specializing in re-bar, structural beams, and staircase railings. We are expanding our operations to include the construction of plenums from sheet metal, utilized in data centers to efficiently transfer heat. In this role, you will support our welding team by using hand and power tools to assemble these structures.

Responsibilities

+ Assist welders in assembling plenums using basic hand tools and drills.

+ Utilize mechanical skills to effectively work with hand and power tools.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.

+ Work in a team-oriented environment to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanically inclined with proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Ability to stand, sit, and crouch for extended periods.

+ Experience in assembly and production environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in mechanics and construction.

+ Experience in working with sheet metal.

+ Skills in carpentry, wood working, and flooring are advantageous.

Work Environment

This role involves working outdoors temporarily until a permanent space is secured for the new contract. The shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for 10-12 hour shifts from Monday to Friday. We aim to avoid Saturday work whenever possible.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gahanna, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
