Job Requisition: REQ4098 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Hiring Range: Starting at $95,000.00
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the organization-wide annual budget process, including developing budget instructions, schedules and timeliness.
• Oversee budget accountability process, including review of variance explanations and action plans.
• Implement and oversee the StrataJazz Budget software, managing internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful execution.
• Create semi-annual service line profitability reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
• Work with 3rd Party Cost report preparers to complete the MCR and ICR. Provide any pertinent data needed, including the tracking of the B1 Overhead Stats.
• Update and maintain the cost accounting system and provides cost analysis as needed.
• Submit various reporting including but not limited to RHCF-2, Tricare Champus Cost report, Capital budgets, Iroquois Workforce Productivity, and Quarterly Patient Utilization reports.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of financial databases and reporting tools, including Premier Benchmarking for Workforce Productivity.
• Complete monthly Statistical Summary and provide explanation of variances to budget.
• Prepare the annual Care of the Poor for the audited Financial Statements and the Schedule H for the Tax Return.
• Develop comprehensive financial plans and “what-if” analyses for new and expanded services, joint ventures, and strategic initiatives.
• Work with the Senior Director of Finance in creation of new depts or accounts. Openly communicate budget variances that may need reclassification or require updated journal entries.
• Build strong relationships with departmental administrators and other leaders to meet their financial analysis needs.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, internal controls, and corporate compliance standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage and mentor direct associate—providing leadership, development, and performance feedback.
Education/Preferred Credential(s): •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Healthcare Management. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Two years of leadership or management experience preferred. Experience with Meditech Expanse and StrataJazz a plus
