+ Experience working with organizations and implementing programs or initiatives across multiple product areas.
+ Experience building and leading technical program management teams.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
+ Experience managing an organization through significant change and transformation.
+ Experience with regulatory and compliance landscapes associated with global products (e.g., Privacy, Security).
+ Expertise with highly scalable distributed systems, data, and concurrency.
+ Deep understanding of data and analytics products and technologies.
+ Familiarity with Google's application needs for data and AI infrastructure.

Core Data is responsible for data at Google, working closely with teams across the company to serve their data needs. The Core Data product suite offers end-to-end data management solutions, infrastructure, and foundations for Google products operating at planet-scale, including flagship products such as Search, Ads, YouTube, and Geo. Core Data’s mission is to unlock the power of Google’s data – by enabling product teams to build the next generation of data driven innovations for end-users.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$383,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
+ Lead and inspire a high-performing team of Technical Program Managers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and belonging.
+ Drive the strategic outlook and roadmap for Core Data programs, defining and leading strategic and operational initiatives.
+ Serve as key thought partner to senior leadership: VPs, Directors, and Product and Engineering leads, influencing decisions and driving alignment on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
+ Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Product, Customer, Finance) to drive regulatory, compliance, and technical programs from requirements through launch.
+ Leverage the power of AI to transform the technical program management discipline itself, developing new methodologies and tools that enhance efficiency, predictability, and impact for your team and our partners.
