CTG is seeking to fill a Microservices Architect position for our client in Houston, TX.

**Duration:** 11 months

What You’ll Do:

+ Design and build scalable microservices using Java (11/17/21) and Go.

+ Develop RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger and integrate databases like MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.

+ Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

+ Drive best practices for event-driven systems, Spring Boot ecosystem, and high-performance architecture.

+ Mentor teams and support cross-functional development initiatives.

What You Bring:

+ 5+ years Java, 4+ years Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data JPA.

+ 1–2 years hands-on Go experience in production.

+ Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

+ Familiarity with Angular, Node.js a plus.

+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
