Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Pay Rate: $50–$55/hour (Local)
Contract Length: 25 weeks | Full-Time | 40 hours/week

About the Role
Amergis is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This position involves implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and supporting students across multiple school sites.
Responsibilities
+ Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.
+ Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
+ Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records.
+ Collaborate with school staff and families to support student mobility and physical development.
+ Travel between school sites as needed to provide services district-wide.
Minimum Requirements
+ Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of California.
+ One (1) year of prior PTA experience preferred (school experience strongly preferred).
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).
+ TB clearance and health certificate per state regulations.
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
Additional Details
+ Caseload: Assisting full-time PT; smaller caseload expected.
+ Grade Levels: District-wide (all ages).
+ Interview Required
+ Feedback within 24 hours
Pay & Benefits
