    Our client is currently seeking a qualified **Field Service Technician** to join their team **onsite** in Orlando, FL and provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network systems. This role is field-based and requires daily travel to assigned client stores. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining IT equipment to ensure optimal store operations.

    Duties and Responsibilities** **:

    + Provide onsite technical support for computers, printers, registers, handheld devices, network equipment, and store technology

    + Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a fast-paced retail environment

    + Perform equipment installations, upgrades, imaging, configuration, and replacement

    + Support point-of-sale (POS) systems, scanners, pin pads, and peripheral devices

    + Assist with network connectivity issues, cabling, and basic switch / router troubleshooting

    + Complete service tickets, documentation, and daily reports

    + Drive to multiple store locations using company-provided vehicle

    + Maintain inventory, parts, tools, and equipment in the field vehicle

    + Communicate professionally with store managers, associates, and IT support teams

    + Ensure all work meets security, safety, and compliance standards

    Skills and Qualifications** **:

    + Minimum 2 to 4+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, desktop support, or field service

    + Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows OS, hardware repair, and peripherals

    + Experience with POS systems, networking basics

    **Wage Range** :

     

    The rate for this position is between **$18.00 - $21.00 per hour.** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
