    You will report directly to our R&D Manager and you’ll work out of our Muncie, IN location.

     

    In this role, you will impact the future of technology by leading research and development initiatives that enhance safety, sustainability, and productivity across various industries.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Conduct research and development activities aligned with the organization's strategic goals.

    + Provide engineering support for existing products within the portfolio.

    + Design and execute experiments, simulations, and analyses to drive the development of innovative technologies.

    + Collaborate with internal and external partners to leverage expertise and resources for R&D projects.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).

    + 6+ years of experience conducting research and development initiatives within a technology, test, or manufacturing environment.

    + 3+ years’ experience in areas such as OPTICS development, electronics, sensors, UV sensing, materials science, or related fields.

    + Practical (hands-on) product test experience within last three years in a collaborative laboratory and test environment.

    + Practical experience in lab setup and testing environment

    + Expertise in software development best practices and design patterns.

    + Proven track record of technical leadership and project management.

    + Attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
