Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation and efficiency across our production processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, troubleshoot challenges, and lead projects that make a real impact on quality and safety.
In this role, you will:
+ Design and implement process improvements that boost efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate product quality.
+ Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and R&D teams to support new product launches and process changes.
+ Analyze data and equipment performance to uncover trends and recommend smart solutions.
+ Troubleshoot equipment and process issues alongside skilled technicians and operators.
+ Lead or support capital projects—from equipment upgrades to automation initiatives.
+ Create and maintain clear documentation, including process flows and standard operating procedures.
+ Champion compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in every project.
What You Bring:
+ A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
+ 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment; printing or converting experience is a plus.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset.
+ Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with high-speed printing or finishing equipment.
+ Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, or industrial controls.
+ Project management experience or certification (PMP, CAPM).

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $40,887 - $115,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
