    Summary

    This opportunity at Rice Memorial Hospital is responsible for the Radiation Oncology department.

     

    + Provides leadership, coordination, direction and development of teams and/or programs for services of responsibility.

    + Responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the department.

    + Functions as a role model and supports an environment conducive to positive and collaborative relationships with all internal and external customers.

    + Responsible for the recruitment, retention and development of qualified staff, which may include interviewing, hiring, monitoring performance and addressing corrective action of team members. Conducts mid-year check-ins and performance appraisals for team members focusing on developmental opportunities.

    + Supports, implements patient safety, and other safety practices as appropriate.

    + Maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs, participates in professional organizations, subscribing to the reading professional journals or other appropriate activities.

    + Serves as a working supervisor while performing the full scope of responsibilities associated with Radiation Therapist duties.

     

    Schedule

     

    + Fulltime, position working 80 hours per two weeks.

    + Primarily Monday-Friday daytime hours.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    + Starting pay rate begins at $40.33/hour, more with experience

    + Full pay range $40.33 to $60.51 hourly

    + Hiring bonus of $7,500 or Tuition Reimbursement of $15,000 available for qualified candidates. $5,000 Relocation bonus also being offered for eligible candidates.

    Qualifications

    + Associate degree or higher from accredited school of Radiation Therapy required.

    + Certified in Radiation Therapy through American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required.

    + Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required.

    + Leadership experience preferred.

     

    To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

     

    Relocation assistance eligibility : Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the Willmar Main Clinic and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
