The **Junior Cabling Specialist (Install & Repair)** ,is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of an enterprise's structured cabling infrastructure, including data and voice networks. This role involves following detailed instructions to run, terminate, and test cables, as well as supporting senior technicians with hardware setup and site surveys. The primary goal is to ensure the physical network infrastructure is reliable and meets company standards.
Duties:
+ Install, terminate, and test network cables, such as Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic, according to technical specifications and company standards.
+ Assist senior technicians with running and pulling cables through walls, ceilings, and other pathways, and mounting telecom equipment.
+ Perform site surveys to help determine optimal cable routing and installation plans.
+ Use testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot cable issues, ensuring proper connectivity and signal integrity.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, and properly manage tools, materials, and inventory.
+ Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and building codes during all installations and repairs.
+ Collaborate with other team members to coordinate schedules and ensure projects are completed on time.
+ Document work performed, including installation details, test results, and any issues encountered.
+ Learn and apply new skills and techniques from senior technicians and training to improve efficiency and knowledge.

Location Requirement
The successful candidate must be located within 50 miles of Vicksburg, MS.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ 2 years of experience in cabling and install/repair for large-scale enterprise environments
+ Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and transferable)
+ Excellent analytical skills for root cause analysis and optimization in high-stakes, regulated settings
+ U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract obligations
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Experience supporting DoD or large federal customers, including database security hardening and ITSM integrations with enterprise systems
+ ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP) certification or higher, with focus on service design and transition
+ ITIL Found V4 certification
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $63662 - $108225
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
