Payroll Processing Team Lead

Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 + $6,500 Annual Bonus Potential (paid quarterly)

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Processing Team Lead to supervise our Payroll Specialists and ensure accurate, timely payroll administration. This role is ideal for a seasoned payroll professional who thrives in leadership and is passionate about process improvement and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead and supervise Payroll Specialists in payroll preparation, distribution, and reporting

+ Oversee wage, overtime, and deduction calculations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations

+ Ensure timely and accurate payroll payments and reporting

+ Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures

+ Update and manage the Payroll Procedures Manual

+ Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

+ 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a supervisory role

+ Experience with ADP Enterprise is a plus

+ CPP certification preferred

+ Strong team leadership and customer service skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

+ Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
