This role is ideal for a therapist who values autonomy, personalized care, and the chance to make a lasting impact in a boutique-style setting. Youll collaborate with our larger team across the region, bringing the same AdventHealth commitment to whole-person, compassionate care.

The role you'll contribute:

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients as medically prescribed, in a professional manner and within hospital standards, adhering to the corporate compliance plan and all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies.

The value you'll bring to the team:

+ Designs and implements a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patients needs.

+ Assesses patient's ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobilty skills, an evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.

+ Monitors patient response to and progress in treatment, modifying treatment plan as appropriate.

+ Provides discharge planning assistance and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and follow-up services.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

+ Entry level competency of physical therapy practice, theory, principles, and applications as defined in competency/department policies [Required]

+ Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]

+ Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

+ Physical Therapist (PT) [Required] OR

+ Physical Therapist -Temporary (PT-TEMP) [Required]

Preferred experience

* Experience in treating Ortho patients in outpatient clinics
