Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced CDL B Local Route Driver to join our Operations team.
In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to provide secure, on-time delivery and pick-up of confidential business files, and ensuring all physical handling requirements are met.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
+ Responsibility 1: Execute Daily Routes – Drive an automatic 20ft - 26ft Box Truck and complete an average of 20 - 25 stops per day to deliver and pick up confidential documents from various businesses, ensuring timely and accurate service.
+ Responsibility 2: Collaborate with Operations – Work closely with dispatchers and operations teams to effectively manage your route, resolve unforeseen issues, and maintain high standards of customer service.
+ Responsibility 3: Ensure Compliance and Safety – Maintain a good driving record, complete pre- and post-trip inspections, and follow all local labor laws and Iron Mountain's safety and regulatory standards, especially when handling confidential materials.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
+ 1+ years of professional route driving experience utilizing a CDL B license.
+ Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation, DOT regulations, and local Atlanta area routes.
+ Proven ability in safe driving practices, physically lifting, pulling, and pushing items weighing 50 lbs - 70 lbs, and providing excellent customer service.
+ Mandatory: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid CDL B driver’s license and a good driving record (no accidents or tickets within the last 3 years).
What We Offer (Benefits)
+ Salary details: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience and license, paid biweekly plus OverTime. (Note: Local labor laws regarding salary range transparency must be followed if mandated.)
+ Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:15 am - route completion (40 - 45 hours per week).
+ Location: 3715 Atlanta Industrial Pkwy NW #100.
