    Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

     

    As a Senior Designer on the Telemundo Design team, you’ll be at the heart of our creative engine, bringing bold ideas to life across digital, mobile, and broadcast platforms. You’ll collaborate daily with a passionate group of designers, producers, editors, and creative directors to craft compelling visual stories that connect with our viewers.

     

    In this role, you’ll own the creative process from concept to launch, designing campaign packages and animated assets that elevate our brand. Whether you're brainstorming in a pitch session, refining motion graphics, or aligning with external agencies, your work will shape how audiences experience Telemundo across every touchpoint.

     

    You’ll be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your design thinking helps bridge key art, motion, and social media, creating holistic campaigns that resonate. Your contributions will directly support Telemundo’s Marketing & Creative Strategy team, playing a vital role in how we engage our audience and grow our brand.

    Basic Requirements:

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in broadcast graphics or motion design.

    + Proven ability to design for digital, mobile, and linear platforms.

    + Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and After Effects.

    + Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and animation principles.

    + Experience producing graphic content for digital/mobile platforms.

    + Familiarity with live-news graphics workflows and common file formats/resolutions.

    + Ability to take projects from concept to final delivery with minimal supervision.

    + Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality design and animation work.

    + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including producers, editors, and creative directors.

    + Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced production environments.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

    + Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

    + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

    + Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area.

    + Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

    + Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

    + Willingness to travel on short notice.

    Desired Characteristics:

    + Experience developing visual identities or campaign looks for broadcast franchises.

    + Familiarity with web and app design principles, including responsive composition.

    + Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish for cross-functional collaboration.

    + Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative ideas and rationale.

    + Proven success working with external agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional teams.

    + Ability to contribute meaningfully to brainstorms, pitches, and creative ideation sessions.

    + Understanding of 360° marketing strategies and how design integrates across platforms.

    + A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for collaboration and innovation.

    + Comfort working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

    Additional Requirements:

    + Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
