Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time intern for the Emergency Management Department. In this role, the intern will work alongside a team of innovative professionals and contribute to Atlantic’s mission of delivering excellent healthcare services to our communities. The intern’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

+ Assist projects related to Emergency Preparedness Program

+ Provide inventory management support for Emergency Preparedness resources

+ Assist in supporting Emergency Department preparedness functions

+ Maintain and provide updates to Emergency Trainings and Exercises

+ Help with ad hoc tasks as assigned

Required

+ Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University

+ Ideally pursing a degree in Emergency Management, Nursing, Logistic/Supply Chain or a similarly related field

+ Be in good academic standing

+ Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, asylee, refugee, or lawful permanent resident

+ Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship

+ Proficient with Excel & Microsoft Office Suite

+ Strong communication skills

Preferred

+ ICS-100, 200 and MINS 700

+ EMT experience is strongly preferred
