Job Description
Purpose:
The Associate Director, Epidemiology Data Analytics, will provide support to the Global Epidemiology department in Clinical Sciences. The role will provide expertise in real-world data, analysis methods, and programming within Global Epidemiology. This person will contribute to the design, execution and presentation of pharmacoepidemiologic studies, support characterization of descriptive epidemiology for diseases and indications, contribute to regulatory submissions and responses, and provide input into best practices and initiatives.
This role could be remote within US.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead or contribute to the development of new real-world evidence through study design, protocol development, and data/statistical analysis plans using various real-world data such as health insurance claims or electronic health records.
+ Manipulate and analyze real-world databases to prepare relevant tables and figures.
+ Communicate the results and findings to epidemiologists and cross-functional members as needed.
+ Provide epidemiology data to core safety and regulatory documents including, but not limited to, RMPs, PSURs, and Briefing Books.
+ Review literature for analytic methodology and coding algorithms related to real-world data
+ Contribute to analytic best practices and initiatives.
Qualifications
+ Master or Ph.D. degree in Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Pharmacy Administration, Public Health, Biostatistics or related fields. Ph.D. is preferred.
+ 7+ years of real-world data analysis experience with a master’s degree or 4+ years of experience with a Ph.D. degree. Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
+ Proficient with SAS, SQL, R, or related statistical software or other data analysis tools for data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
+ Familiar with real-world data (e.g. health insurance claims, electronic health records) concepts and structures. Extensive experience in manipulating and analyzing these databases is required.
+ Knowledge and experience in different therapeutic areas. Immunology experience is preferred.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Salary: $137,500 - $261,000
