Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse LPN
Starting rate with St. John Community $27 per hour.
We are offering a $6,000 Sign-on Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year for the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN.
Typical Work Hours
7:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m to 11:00 p.m., 11:00 p.m to 7:00 a.m, Monday through Friday with one weekend of on-call a month. Additional schedules with 8 or 12 hour shifts available.

The Licensed Practical Nurse LPN will cooperate with the unit manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN assumes responsibility of total resident/patient care on a designated unit for each shift worked by performing professional nursing duties and assuring the completion of nurse aide duties. Cooperates with all disciplines to assure high quality resident/patient care.
Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse LPN requirements:
+ Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing and must possess a current Practical Nurse license; in good standing, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; A Nurse who does not yet have a Pennsylvania license must have a temporary practice permit required by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
+ Demonstrated management, communication, and observation skills with an interest in geriatrics.
+ Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
