    **Job Title:** Software Engineer III - Cyber Security

    **Location:** Little Canada, MN

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Design, develop, and maintain software applications utilizing C++, Python, and Shell scripting.

    + Implement secure coding practices and contribute to the hardening of Linux systems to defend against cybersecurity threats.

    + Utilize OpenSSL for cryptographic operations, including encryption, key management, and certificate handling.

    + Participate in code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments to ensure robust security measures.

    + Document system configurations, software designs, and security procedures to support compliance and knowledge sharing.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

    + Proven experience with C++, Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.

    + Strong understanding of Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

    + Hands-on experience with OpenSSL, cryptographic protocols, TLS, and PKCS standards.

    + Knowledge of Linux cybersecurity tools such as SELinux, fapolicyd, and secure boot mechanisms.
