As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining order at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to support a secure environment. You will also interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies.

+ Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary per established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related issues.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.

+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following site-specific guidelines and instructions from management.

+ Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain an orderly and secure environment at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
