What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols for healthcare environments.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activity within the location.

+ Report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.

+ Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures.

+ Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals encountered while on duty, representing Allied Universal at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
