As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment for customers and staff. This role requires you to be both armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate response protocols.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity or security-related concerns and report findings according to site guidelines.

+ Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or customers to address inquiries and provide assistance as required.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the retail environment.

+ Complete required reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, and observations during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III armed certification for Texas roles only.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
