As a **Security Officer Armed Patrol – Education** in **Rock Hill, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service at an educational location. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remain highly visible, and respond to any security-related issues as needed. This armed position requires professionalism and a commitment to Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors while supporting a caring and reliable culture.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and communication skills.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.

+ Support a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors by maintaining a professional presence and following all protocols specific to educational settings.

+ Work collaboratively with school personnel and local law enforcement when necessary, adhering to site-specific protocols.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

+ Participate in ongoing training related to security-related procedures, conflict resolution, and emergency response.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess at least five years of security-related experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
