Residential Living Manager (QP) – Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM
We are seeking an experienced **Qualified Professional (QP)** to oversee our Substance Abuse (SA) Halfway House. This role is ideal for a strong leader who can manage staff, handle daily operations, develop community resources, and support residents in achieving their goals.
Responsibilities
Staff Supervision
+ Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff
+ Conduct evaluations and provide corrective action when necessary
+ Delegate tasks and maintain smooth daily operations
House Administration
+ Screen clients for admission
+ Complete required documentation and authorizations
+ Review staff notes and ensure timely, accurate documentation
+ Develop person-centered plans and coach clients toward goals
Client Support
+ Provide daily support and structure to residents
+ Coordinate or provide transportation as needed
+ Lead activities and life-skills training (budgeting, housekeeping, time management, employment prep)
+ Assist with discharge and transition planning
Team Collaboration
+ Work with the interdisciplinary team to address client needs
+ Communicate important updates to supervisors and team members
+ Advocate for clients and help ensure coordinated care
Requirements
**Qualification:** Must meet North Carolina standards to serve as a **Qualified Professional (QP)** in behavioral health or substance use services.
Experience:
+ Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
+ Experience in residential, SUD, or community-based programs (preferred)
Skills:
+ Strong leadership and delegation skills
+ Effective problem-solving and crisis management
+ Excellent communication and documentation
+ Ability to build supportive relationships with clients and staff
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Must be flexible to provide coverage if staff are absent.
Location
Located in **Durham County or Person County** (no travel required between both).

**Pay Details:** $42,000.00 to $47,000.00 per year
