Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for **Pharmacy Technician** for our client in **Baton Rouge, LA** !

**Type:** 3-month contract, with potential for extension or a full-time offer

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm

**Pay:** $21 to $24/hr

**Location:** Baton Rouge, LA 70809

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:

• Perform various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders.

• Dispense any or all the following: unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.

• Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies and patient collateral (education materials) are included.

• Perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units.

Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Louisiana pharmacy tech license required

• Previous Pharmacy technician experience, preferably Home Infusion, needed.
