    1:30pm-10:00pm

     

    The Technician works in a laboratory or office-like environment to assemble small parts for biomedical instruments. Team members are usually seated but can stand if desired with adjustable height worktables. Many of our products are high-tech, offering opportunities to develop skills and experience with lasers, microscopes, and test equipment. Extensive training will be provided to each Technician so that they can master various operations.

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to work at bench standing and/or sitting for 4 hours at a time.

    • Visual acuity to read prints and precision scales and calipers.

    • Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds occasionally.

    • Adequate dexterity for using various hand tools.

    Education and/or Experience:

    • Minimum HS diploma or GED required.

    • Prior experience with mechanical assembly/disassembly preferred.

    • Prior experience reading and using blueprints and work instructions to build product preferred.
