HIRING: Document Control Specialist!!
Schedule: Hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday in-office, Monday & Friday remote)
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-driven Document Control Specialist to join our East Coast team and play a key role in managing project documentation from planning through close-out. In this role, you’ll help maintain accuracy, compliance, and smooth information flow across our projects. You’ll partner closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure documents are organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
What You’ll Do
+ Develop, organize, and maintain filing systems for document creation, storage, and backup
+ Ensure all documents meet Quality Management System (QMS) standards and compliance requirements
+ Track and log incoming and outgoing documents from clients, partners, and contractors
+ Work with project teams to maintain proper version control and document accuracy
+ Manage and update document registers, logs, and databases
+ Support continuous improvement of documentation workflows and processes
What You Bring
+ Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred, not required)
+ 2+ years of document control experience within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry
+ Experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS); familiarity with SharePoint is a plus
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders
+ Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have
+ Understanding of engineering or technical documentation
+ Experience supporting large-scale or multi-disciplinary projects

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
