Job Title: Construction SchedulerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to join our team. This role requires a professional with substantial experience in managing scheduling for large manufacturing, industrial, and commercial construction projects exceeding $50 million. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Scheduler, although we may consider candidates with 5+ years of dedicated scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and manage project schedules for large construction projects over $50 million.

+ Collaborate with project management teams to ensure alignment on project timelines and milestones.

+ Utilize MS Project at an intermediate to expert level for scheduling tasks; familiarity with Primavera P6 is advantageous.

+ Conduct on-site schedule development at GM Tonawanda, with initial schedule setup taking approximately one month.

+ Perform weekly updates to schedules, dedicating half to a full day weekly, with comprehensive updates conducted 2-3 days monthly on-site.

+ Potentially travel 10-25% to support other projects, adapting schedules as necessary.

Essential Skills

+ Intermediate to expert level proficiency in Microsoft Project.

+ Experience with project scheduling, specifically in the industrial construction sector.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets upwards of $50 million.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with Primavera P6.

+ Capability to work on-site initially to build schedules and perform major monthly updates.

+ Adaptability for occasional travel to support additional projects.

Work Environment

The role is based on-site at GM in Tonawanda, NY, where you will collaborate with a team of 15 other employees. The work environment is dynamic, involving regular updates and adjustments to project schedules. While the position is primarily on-site, there is flexibility for remote work provided the candidate can complete initial and major monthly updates in person.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
