    Job Title: Pipe Fitter (Nights)

    Job Description

    As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting large pipes, 8 inches and up, performing saddle cuts, using a cutting torch, tape measure, beveler, tack welding, and reading blueprints. This position requires flexibility to work either day or night shifts, with each shift starting at 5 AM or 5 PM.

    Responsibilities

    + Fit large pipes, 8 inches and above.

    + Perform saddle cuts and use a cutting torch.

    + Measure accurately using a tape measure.

    + Bevel pipes and perform tack welding.

    + Read and interpret blueprints effectively.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of experience as a pipe fitter in a manufacturing company.

    + Ability to pass a written pipe fitter test.

    + Possession of a blue book.

    + Experience in tack welding, saddle cuts, and pipe beveling.

    + Proficient in reading blueprints.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in pipe fabrication and assembly.

    The work environment is a manufacturing shop that is non-climate controlled, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures.

    This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $33.00/hr.
