    Job Description

    The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for picking orders from pick sheets and loading and unloading trucks, both by hand and with a partner. This role involves handling garage sections that weigh between 40 to 100 pounds, and team lifting different materials. Additional duties include sweeping, taking out garbage, and general warehouse tasks. This position requires substantial lifting over the shoulders and head, as well as using a ladder. Forklift use is not part of the job.

    Responsibilities

    + Pick orders from pick sheets.

    + Load and unload trucks with a partner.

    + Handle garage sections weighing 40 - 100 pounds.

    + Perform general warehouse duties, including sweeping and taking out garbage.

    + Lift items over shoulders and head and use a ladder as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift up to 60 lbs individually and 70 lbs with a partner.

    + Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English.

    + Minimum of 3 months of relevant warehouse experience, including order picking and loading/unloading trucks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in material handling, shipping, and receiving.

    + Familiarity with inventory management and packing.

    Work Environment

     

    The job is located in a mid-size, climate-controlled warehouse with comfortable temperatures, although it can get warm in the summer. The facility is well-lit and fosters a team environment with four full-time warehouse employees. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The dress code includes work pants or jeans, a t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes or boots.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
