    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated production workers to operate and maintain packaging machinery, ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. This role involves setting up machinery, managing jams, and ensuring product quality.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and adjust packaging machinery, including auto packager, cutter, and filler.

    + Set up machinery and input orders into the computer systems.

    + Adjust hoses and blades as necessary and add new film and roles to machinery.

    + Manage and unclog jams effectively.

    + Check products for defects to maintain quality standards.

    + Operate machinery that fills, cuts, seals, and packages sauce packets and containers.

    + Connect hoses to tankers and fillers and climb ladders to the top of machinery.

    + Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 40 lbs. individually.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of GMP experience.

    + At least 1 year of packaging experience.

    + At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to lift 40 lbs. individually.

    + Comfortable climbing ladders and working above machinery.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

    + Experience with machine operating and packaging machinery.

    + Blending and batch mixing experience.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean and temperature-controlled facility, equipped with packaging machinery, kettles, and tanks. The environment is GMP compliant, requiring hairnets, beard nets, no jewelry, work pants, and non-slip boots. The facility is well-maintained and offers a pleasant working atmosphere.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.05/hr.
