Shipping and Receiving Clerk In Vista,CA

**Pay:** $18- $22/HR

Job Description:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a critical role in managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility. This position is responsible for verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and preparing materials for shipment. Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and assisting with material requests from production are key components of this role.

Responsibilities:

+ Inspect and process incoming products for shipment, making decisions on acceptance or rejection.

+ Handle shipping through UPS, FedEx, and Truck Freight.

+ Package, label, and verify products ready for shipment.

+ Maintain an organized and clean work area.

+ Work with customers to manage timely shipping information.

+ Assist in QC inspection of finished goods.

+ Support material requests from the production floor to prevent production delays.

+ Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory.

+ Scrap nonconforming material.

+ Investigate inventory discrepancies.

+ Participate in internal training as needed.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving.

+ Forklift experience.

+ Experience in inventory.

+ Basic math skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
