About this opportunity\.\.\.
The Analyst, Merchant Operations is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data\-driven insights and recommendations to identify and drive business improvements\. This position will execute and refine standard reporting processes while effectively communicating results and recommendations to management in both written and verbal formats\.
The Analyst must possess strong collaboration skills, working closely with cross\-functional partners such as Distribution Centers, Planning, Merchandising, and Allocation teams\. This role requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple deliverables, and maintain focus on priorities in a fast\-paced and evolving environment\. The ideal candidate will leverage strong technical and functional skills to respond to ad\-hoc data requests and support continuous process improvement across the organization\.
The base salary range for this role is $65,200 \- $75,000\. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location\. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees\. Other rewards vary by position and location\.
What you will do and what you will learn\.\.\.
+ Utilize Excel and related analytical tools to generate reports and insights for all levels of the organization, based on project needs or ad hoc requests\. Proactively, analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and root causes within merchant\-driven processes, and summarize key findings into clear, actionable presentations for both executive and operational teams to drive improvement\.
+ Independently evaluate current processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement, and develop and present recommendations to management for implementation\.
+ Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, adapting messaging and presentation style to suit the audience and ensure understanding and alignment\.
+ Combine and compare data from multiple sources to identify relationships, validate accuracy, and draw insights that support achieving desired business results\.
+ Manage daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc analysis delivering accurate and timely reporting\.
+ Maintain/update existing job aids\.
What you need to be successful\.\.\.
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Strong excel and analytical skills
+ Retail merchandising, planning, or reporting skills
+ Business acumen \- demonstrated understanding of quality standards relative to analysis of data and statistics in a retail environment\.
+ Clear and concise communication skills
+ Impeccable attention to detail
