    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Forklift Operator and play a key role in our shipping and receiving processes by operating a stand-up forklift. You will also be responsible for supplying materials to the production line and removing finished materials.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a stand-up forklift for shipping and receiving materials.

    + Operate Reach trucks

    + Supply materials to the production line and remove materials from the lines.

    + Adhere to all GMP policies in a food manufacturing plant.

    + Wear hair and beard nets at all times, along with company-provided lab coats.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience operating stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and reach trucks.

    + Material handling experience.

    + 1 year of experience in a similar role.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a food manufacturing plant is preferred.

    + Ability to pass a test on stand-up reach trucks.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled food manufacturing plant. Follow strict dress codes including the prohibition of jewelry, and the mandatory wearing of hair and beard nets, as well as company-provided lab coats. Initially train on the 1st shift before moving to either the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday to Friday, or the 3rd shift from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am, Monday to Friday.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
