Job Title: CDL Driver

Job Description

As a CDL Driver, you will operate a water truck to irrigate sod on site, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment and materials in a secure manner, checking filters, and greasing equipment as necessary. The role requires physical capability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

+ Operate water truck in compliance with safety policies and procedures.

+ Maintain and store equipment and materials safely.

+ Check and maintain filters and grease equipment.

+ Ensure compliance with operational safety standards.

Essential Skills

+ 2-4 years of experience in operating heavy equipment, preferably in roadway, DOT, or bridge construction.

+ Experience in heavy civil construction and earthworks.

+ Possession of a CDL A license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience as a heavy equipment operator.

+ Familiarity with heavy equipment operation in construction environments.

Work Environment

Work 100% outdoors and be comfortable working in hot conditions. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:45 AM to 5 PM, totaling 50-52 hours per week, with occasional Saturday work depending on project needs.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Myers Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
