Jacobs has an opportunity for a Project Manager - Strategic Planner supporting our long-term project in Huntsville, Alabama.
The Project Manager - will assist the client with oversight and overall management of multiple projects as assigned through
design, construction, and closeout phases. General Responsibilities include:
• Understand and assist with the shaping of the FBI’s strategy and mission in Huntsville.
• Develop plans to materialize strategy and analyze suggestions/options from other members of the FBI team, as well as outside agencies and organizations.
• Research other venues or sites with similar capabilities to identify opportunities and areas to avoid (due to concerns or to avoid duplication/redundancy)
• Provide support and insight into significant organizational changes related to the FBI’s strategy in Huntsville.
• Support and provide senior leadership with unbiased information to allow for clear decisions.
• Support the development of forecasts and analytical modeling as it relates to the FBI’s Huntsville footprint, as well as the relationship with the overall organization.
• Monitor and analyze mission trends and developments in advanced training as it relates to near- and long-term capabilities required in the FBI’s sites in Huntsville.
• Assist with the design and development of the South Campus venues, with an emphasis on the Practical Problem Venues and Emerging Threat Zone using existing FBI training courses and future initiatives.
• Support the creation of logistical plans for future training capabilities within Redstone Academy - working throughout the campus(es) during training.
• Assist with the development of logistical plans and capabilities for the trainees coming to Huntsville - arriving in the area and transportation on and off base. Note: there is sensitivity to some trainees.
• Engage with end users to collect requirements for programming and design.
• Participate in the design process with Architect and Engineers (ie. AE-1 firms and Designers of Record)
• Coordinate with the cost estimating team to update project costs and forecast potential change orders.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience delivering or facilitating specialized law enforcement and/or Intelligence Community training courses.
• Experience with the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) training requirements.
• Experience working with end-users to transform requirements into design elements
• Knowledge/experience with FBI projects and knowledge of FBI Program of Requirements (POR) or Design is a plus.
• 10+ years with Federal Law Enforcement and/or Intelligence Community training and/or curriculum development
• Must have excellent communication skills and be very good in building and developing teams
• TS Clearance Required
