Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems (ESS) designer for high-impact projects across federal, defense, and private sectors. This role focuses on delivering physical and electronic security designs for mission-critical facilities using Building Information Modeling (BIM) with Revit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide client-facing ESS consulting and design leadership
* Design and model detailed electronic security systems using Revit
* Generate comprehensive design documentation meeting Jacobs' and client standards, to include Basis-of-Design narratives, plan and detail drawings, and technical specifications in UFGS and CSI formats
* Coordinate with multi-discipline teams for seamless system integration
* Conduct construction administration tasks

* At least 5 years of experience in Revit-based electronic security systems design
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office suite
* Expertise in Intrusion Detection, Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Intercommunications systems
* Relevant certifications (e.g., ASIS PSP, IAPSC CSC)
* Experience in complex large-scale projects
* HS Diploma or equivalent
Ideally, You'll Have:
* Autodesk Revit certification
* Experience creating security equipment families in Revit
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or architectural discipline
