    A Day in Your Life at MKS:As a PCB Assembly Technician at MKS Power Solutions, you will partner with NPI and Core Engineering Departments to support early prototype development. In this role, you will report to the Sr, Manager of Core Engineering.You Will Make an Impact By:

    + PCB Assembly: Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to detailed specifications and schematics, ensuring accuracy and quality.

    + Rework and Repair: Perform rework and repair tasks on PCBs, including soldering small components such as SMDs (Surface-Mount Devices) to correct any defects or issues.

    + Cable and Harness Assembly: Build and assemble various types of cables and harnesses, ensuring proper connections and functionality.

    + Quality Inspection: Inspect and test assembled PCBs to verify they meet quality standards and specifications, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.

    + Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of assembly and rework processes, including documenting any issues and solutions, and reporting progress to supervisors.

    + Safety and Cleanliness: Follow safety protocols and industry standards during assembly and rework processes and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.

    + Travel Requirements: Up to 0% of Travel is required.

     

    Skills You Bring:Hiring Manager to use required skills from above job profile job description. However, feel free to add in additional required experience or technical skills that are specific to this requisition.

     

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB assembly and rework.

    + Proficiency in soldering small components, including SMDs.

    + Experience in cable and harness assembly.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.

    + Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    + Current J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610 a plus

    Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

    + Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 pounds

    + Noise level in the work environment is usually average

    + Pay Range: $25-35 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

     

    Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
