    Process Operator / CNC Machinist

    shifts, encompassing a range of days and time slots such as **5:30am-4:00pm** **Mon-Thurs, 4:00 pm-2:30am** **Mon-Thurs & 5:30am-6:00pm** **Fri-Sun, 5:30pm-6:00am** **Fri- Sun**

    Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing

    equipment using CNC controls for multiple operations, to include but not

    limited to machining (Horizontal Boring Machines, Laser Drillers, 5-axis

    milling machines), bonding, heat treatment, manual machining and hand tools, etc.

    + Requiredto lift / move 50lbs of materials

    + Interpretdetailed drawings/sketches, blueprints, manufactures specifications, etc.,and figure out necessary tools to perform required machining operations

    + Usingmaterial handling devices (Jib & B/C cranes and forklifts),loads/unloads parts from machines and/or assists crane operator.

    + FollowsSiemens established procedures to operate machinery and equipment.

    WhatYou Bring

    + **Education:** High School diploma orGED

    + **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in CNCoperations, specifically in the following areas:

    + Machining

    + Laserapplications

    + Coatingmachines (specific experience preferred)

    + **RequiredCertifications:**

    + Forktruck/crane license (Active or ability to obtain it immediately onselection)

    • Ability

    to obtain an ACT® WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver Level

    or higher) as part of the pre-hire assessment. Siemens Energy will assist in

    scheduling the test upon shortlisting.

     

    + **Skills:** Proficient in CNCoperation, loading/unloading workpieces, adhering to QA protocols,performing complex metrology, and interpreting complex drawings; strongshop math skills.

    + Abilityto wear a respirator and pass a Process Operator Competency Test.

    + ·Successfulapplicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonaryfunction tests as required to perform the duties.
