    As a Quality Control Analyst 1 here at **Solstice Advanced Materials** , you will help to shape and maintain our organization's commitment to exceptional quality standards. Your responsibilities will involve conducting inspections and tests across various stages of production, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous enhancement.

     

    You will report directly to our Quality Control Manager, and you’ll work out of our Colonial Heights, VA location on a Onsite work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will impact the quality assurance processes by ensuring that products meet the required standards and compliance regulations, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and trust in our products.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Maintain ISO 9001:2015 by supporting both internal and external audits

    + Support root cause analysis (RCA) efforts to address quality opportunities

    + Drive business impact by improving year over year (YOY) performance for key area metrics such as Parts Per Million defective units shipped

    + Execute quality control plans by fully utilizing software programs such as Lab Vantage Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS.)

    + Accurately report quality and production data into software systems

    + Compile, maintain, and update company quality records and metrics

    + Utilize SAP to support Enterprise transactional needs

    + Manage inventories and support inventory counts

    + Respond to customer complaints, questions, requests

    + Develop new SOP’s, controlled documents, and training material

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products

    + Analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions

    + Ensure adherence to established quality control procedures and regulatory requirements

    Qualifications

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Minimum 10 years of experience in quality control, production, or process engineering in industries such as: Chemical, Textiles, Nonwovens, Refinery, Pulp & Paper, Pharmaceutical or Petro-Chemical

    + Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional work groups including suppliers, customers, and associates

    + Problem Solving & Decision Making – identifies and solves problems, develops innovative solutions, acts decisively, and shows good judgment.

    + Demonstrated ability to use influencing skills to accomplish goals and objectives

    + Results Orientation – maintains appropriate focus on short- and long-term goals. Motivated by achievement, and persists until goals are reached, conveying a sense of urgency.

    + Potential - capable of assuming more responsible roles within the organization.

    + Fundamental understanding of Quality philosophies, Lean principles, safety, and Statistical Process Control

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Working knowledge of statistics, root cause analysis and corrective action process.

    + Computer skills to work proficiently with Microsoft Windows. Ability to learn through training the required computer systems/software (LIMS, SAP, NWA, Salesforce etc.)

    + Able to work independently with limited supervision. Proactive and acts without being prompted. Must manage time wisely and effectively prioritize multiple competing tasks.

    + Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

    WE VALUE

    + 3+ years of experience in a chemical, textile or nonwovens plant environment preferred

    + 5+ years of experience in textile or parts inspection

    + Experience supporting ISO 9001 quality system

    + Experience in Lab Vantage LIMS or other Quality Control software

    + Six Sigma certification preferred

    COMPENSATION

    The annual base salary range for this position is $61,300k - $76,600k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities or the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
